Mountains Change lives.

Fully funded mountain adventures for young people who face barriers to the outdoors.

WHAT WE DO

More than an experience in the mountains, we help young people redefine what they are capable of.

Our programmes provide the skills, the challenge and a community that lasts, plus the chance to keep accessing the outdoors and connected to further opportunities.

IN THEIR WORDS

Meet some of the young people who are part of our community.

HOW TO GET INVOLVED

There is more than one way to improve a young person's access to the outdoors.

MAKE A DONATION

Every penny helps us open up the outdoors to young people, and fund the training and qualifications that take them further.

NOMINATE A YOUNG PERSON

Know a young person aged 16 to 18 who would thrive in the mountains but cannot get there on their own? If that sounds like someone you know, nominate them for a fully funded week of adventure.

FUNDRAISE ON OUR BEHALF

Got a challenge in mind and been looking for a reason to go for it? A marathon, a Munro round, a big ride or a bake sale, whatever suits you. Take it on for MMF and turn your effort into a week in the mountains for a young person.

PARTNER WITH US

We work with partners who share our belief in opening up the outdoors. If you would like to support us, through sponsorship, equipment or your corporate social responsibility, we would love to talk.

WHAT WE DO

See what a week in the mountains looks like.

MARTIN MORAN

The reason we are here.

Martin Moran was one of Britain's most respected mountain guides, but it was his gift for sharing the hills with others that left the deepest mark. The foundation carries on the belief he lived by, that time in the mountains can change a life.
